My mom and dad are coming to visit in June, and Becki and I can't wait to take them to the Kolache Factory restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado! There are also several restaurants with authentic Czech cuisine.

I love that name it seems like it would have some good Czech people running it doesn't it? Had a great day yesterday. It was so darn hot here but we sat outside and watched the kids have fun. Macy of course likes to go too close to the street and then look at you like what this can't be dangerous!!

I loooove kolaches! We used to eat them at Czech Days in Tabor, SD, when I was little. Then my mom learned how to make them and I was so excited. I haven't had any in years. My favorite are apricot. YUM!! http://www.taborczechdays.com/

I will have to make some when we are in Denver. I am so proud that the last ones I made after all these years were still edible after two days. The dough was so perfect...Czech days are coming up in June. I love apicot, poppyseed which Kelli loves and prune! Yikes I guess I love them all!!!

This czech restaurant is going to end up like the Iowa City German Wienerschnitzel!!!!! Last week a man from the Stoke Program brought Rolache with sausage in the middle from the Kolache Factory. They were very, very delicious. Another guy in the program is from Prague and he has told me of a few good Czech restaurants.
*Mom...I think you are going to have more fun in Denver than you think!
