koda baby

Koda's latest trick is "beg." For a dog breed that is not supposed to be very good at learning tricks, Koda is quite the trickster.

We taught him to beg while using us to balance upon first, and after a few weeks of this now he's learning to balance on his own.

After a rough day yesterday, it was such a delight to realize "He GOT IT!" right before we went to bed.

Amazing what joy a fuzzy little guy can bring to your life.

He is so darn smart then all my grand babies are!! We had the three Honner grand babies and we had so much fun outside. It was chilly but we made a fire and tried to make marshmellows that Grandma just kept burning and nobody wanted them. Just me and you can only have so many marshmellows. We had a fun time we had--anyhow that was the general thoughts at bedtime tonight! I know the cool air made me tired. They all were looking for the Easter Bunny outside but they could not find Mr. Bunny....

Koda would be a perfect sized ride for Jackster- now we just need to find some sort of dog saddle contraption, and we'd be set!

And marshmallows sounds like fun, mom- I know the grandkids must love that special time spent with grandma.

Paige said Max was telling the neighbor boy that he was going to his Grandma's and having a fun party. You need a Grandma and some marshmellows and a fire!! Then you can have a fun time. I even called Scott and said just leave the kids overnight so we even extended our fun to a sleep over. Luke just told me "Good bye lady" when he was leaving with his buzz light year big boy underwear. I hope they don't forget when he lays down for his nap. They took full advantage to no kids and sleep in and then went to Perkins for breakfast. It was fun but I will bet I will be in bed on time with an eight o'clock wake up from Macy. She was just jabbering and having a great time entertaining herself but I was worried she would take off her diaper and strip she has a little Lolita in her I do believe!!

If you look to the bottom right of that picture, you can see what used to be linoleum but is now a shadow of it's former glory. Koda decided our house needed to look a bit Pre-Medieval and get our feet feeling what real hardwood is all about.

The fact he was the son of trained circus animals sometimes battles his inner desire to be an interior decorator.

Heck, no, Katie- Koda's still going strong! He thinks he's all cool and stuff showing off his scar. (kidding-- he doesn't have a scar at ALL- but he still thinks he's pretty cool anyway...)
