I've never had a message in my life, but I feel that if I were to ever get one, NOW would be the time. I have 200 charms created. 200! That's more than I have ever had made at one time. I believe the most I've ever had is around 150. So I feel good and have been repeating to myself, "Nicki-- put... down... the... soldering iron." I'm half tempted to give it to Brandon and ask him to hide it, because I know I'll be tempted to make more things in the few days leading up to my events. It's just inevitable. What generally happens- and what is happening right now- is that I find that I've made just 1 or 2 of something I just LOVE, and I think I need to make more of those charms du jour. This time around it's the big round glass charms. I want to wear two of them-- one on a really long chain, then one that fits on a smaller chain, so that means there are only a few left and inevitably if I wear something I must have backups, as people ALWAYS love whatever I wear. I learned the hard way that it's not good to be like, "Oooh- I'm so sorry. I only have one of these veryspecialfabulous charms. Yes, just made one. For me." I have once or twice sold a necklace off my neck, and once my sister Kelli was gracious to allow a girl to buy the necklace off HER neck. Which PS- I still owe you for, Kelli!
So, yes. I have accomplished a lot, but am feeling all those sparkly new charms right in my middle back.

Ok enough!!! You need to relax and you have plenty of charms and if you come home depleted it was a damn good week end. You are now in a mode to relax and pack some boxes...that will not be as much fun as making charms unless you find the journals you couldn't find or some other wonderful treasure!!! Is Brandon ready for all those girl screams over ants or SPIDERS!!! Good thing he is tall and has wide shoulders he will be a night in shining armor to all of you women!!
Opps Kelli wishes she had a charm like that one she still talks about the girl buying it off of her. A great memory...
Now it's just making some custom charm signs, pricing (tags are already made- just need to catalog everything), and gather my display pieces.
I have Kelli's necklace-to-be sitting on my coffee table as we speak! I just checked my art desk, because I KNEW I had cut the glass and foiled it, and there it is. I have the wire all set, so I guess I have to use my iron just *one more time* this week. :)
Its all most here. Dad is so excited he has to work most days you are here and it looks like there is no changing days. He was trying to work it out yesterday. He is kind of bummed. Kelli will be so excited lets not tell her and have it be a surprise!!
Well now I know and I am sooooo excited. I have been into heavily accessorizing and can imagine the beauty of not one but TWO dazzling pieces of your art hanging from my neck! I can't wait to see what you have. I have to work at my dad's bar Friday night for a few hours, only so that I can have some $$$ to go out with you girls and buy some necklaces. Other than that, I am all yours. My vacation has been officially approved at work and I can't wait for you to get here. Drive safe.
