take me out to the ballgame...

We had a great time at the Rockies game last night. The Rockies won, which always makes attending a game that you as a general rule care little about more exciting. And what a great excuse to indulge in footlongs with the works, peanuts, and ice cream sundaes. Viva la whipped cream!

Here's Brandon, enjoying his footlong bratwurst, complete with saurkraut and onions/peppers.

Here's me enjoying my ice cream sundae in a mini plastic Rockies baseball hat. This thing had to have been topped with an entire bottle of Reddi-Whip.

Here's me and Becki taking post-game photos, much to the chagrin of the a-hole on the right-hand side of the photo. He kept glaring at us as though we were going to count to three and each take a side and make a run for the field or something. Or maybe he thought we were drunk like 90% of the adult crowd there were. In any case, I didn't appreciate the stares, buddy, and mostly didn't appreciate when you told my boyfriend to "Just make it snappy" when he asked if we could go down field and take photos with the Rockies purple dinosaur mascot Dinger.

P.S. We didn't get to take photos with Dinger, and thank you for runining my life.

we should have punched dinger, then beat the crap out of the 'stupid ballpark attendant'! right, bran...next time we go to the game, and the pitcher for the rockies is pitching-we are going to start chanting "we want a pitcher, not a belly itcher.." from the rock pile, until everyone in the crowd joins us. then, i am going to go home and check that job off of my to do list.

Oh, Bran- you're a crazy man. And Becki- that made me pee my pants thinking of you shouting "We want a pitcher..." in the Rock Pile! That would SO be worth the $4, even if we got kicked out after 1/2 an inning. :)

What fun! What the hell kind of mascot is named DINGER! Reminds me of pewter or pooter or whatever silly name we used to laugh about whenever Becki would say it!

Dinger the Dinosaur looks strangely like Barney, Kelli. I have no idea what a dinger is-- but it sounds bad, indeed! Maybe it's slang for hitting a baseball.

Do you know that in the foothills right next to Fort Collins, we have the "Poudre River," so everything around here is Poudre School District, Poudre Heating and Plumbling. Meanwhile, Poudre is pronounced like "Pooter." But I like to pronounce it pewter because it's less embarassing.

I thought the hair looked shorter but thought you had it pulled back in a loose pony tail. I had to go back and look today. It looks like it is pig tail length.
